DIY Valentine Card

A DIY Valentine Card doesn't have to exist fancy, or ornate, or crave a graphic design degree. It tin can but be some very carefully fatigued lines.

DIY Valentine Card

This Valentine card could very hands double as a Line art project, as Lines are i of the Elements of Art. After all, if you lot show students the power that only lines can accept, when used a creative way, imagine what they can practise with all the other Elements too.

The goal is to fill up a pencil shape with lots of parallel marking lines, and and so erase the pencil so the edges are merely unsaid. It takes some forethought, to non automatically trace the pencil heart, merely the look is and so much more elegant if you practice.

And if you forget and DO terminate up with marker heart lines, no worry. Y'all nevertheless have gotten lots of fine motor skill exercise in, and accept created a very pretty bill of fare likewise.

MATERIALS

  • Drawing paper, 9″ x 12″
  • Scrap card stock paper
  • Heart dial, 2″
  • Pencil
  • Thin colored markers

DIRECTIONS

Time needed:i hour.

How to brand a DIY Valentine Carte

  1. Make a centre template with the punch. Trace lots of hearts.

  2. Advisedly fill a heart with lines, all the aforementioned direction.

  3. Fill in another heart, with lines in a unlike direction.

  4. Fill in another heart, with lines in a different direction.

  5. Fill in some other heart, with lines in a different direction.

  6. Fill up in some other middle, with lines in a unlike management.

  7. Fill in another heart, with lines in a unlike direction.

  8. Erase the pencil center lines.
